You never know what you’re going to get on a sunset/sunrise hike at Devil’s Lake State Park. We may get amazing colors or we may get clouds, but one thing is sure, we’re going to get out there and create some great images!
We’ll meet on the north shore of Devil’s Lake State Park about an hour before sunset and decide together what the best location for the evening will be. This may mean hiking up the bluffs or staying down along the water. We’ll scope out a location, set up our cameras and wait for the show. Your guide, known for his Devil’s Lake State Park photography work with Skillet Creek Media, will be there to offer locations, suggestions, and tips to help you improve your shots. You’ll talk gear from tripods & lenses to ND filters, but you’ll focus on imagination, connection, and creativity.
Of course when we’re done, it will probably be dark so we’ll also show you the best way to get back to your car… even from the top of the bluffs!
